REPTILE

REPTILE
Growing up in Miami, I was always surrounded by reptiles—iguanas basking in the sun, anoles darting across fences, and the occasional gecko clinging to the walls at night. Seeing these creatures every day sparked my fascination with reptiles, making them feel like a natural part of life rather than something to fear.
I was captivated by their unique colors, patterns, and the way they moved with such effortless grace. That love for reptiles only grew over the years, eventually leading me to get a Ball Python—a stunning snake with bright patches, a perfect blend of my favorite reptile traits.
Its rare genetics and docile nature made it the ideal pet, combining beauty and personality in a way that reminds me of the reptiles I grew up admiring in Miami

Why snakes
Surrounded by reptiles growing up in Miami—iguanas, anoles, and geckos—I developed a deep love for them. Over time, I realized snakes, especially the Ball Python, are the perfect pets for me. Unlike messy, high-maintenance dogs or cats (which I tolerate for my girlfriend), snakes are clean, quiet, and easy to care for. Ultimately, I wanted something unique. With its rare genetics, stunning colors, and docile nature, the Ball Python perfectly fits my lifestyle and reminds me of the reptiles I grew up admiring.

I enjoyed having Professor Khan as my professor! I put off his class for two years, unsure how I’d feel about it, but now I regret waiting—I wish I took it sooner! The projects and discussions were great, and the creativity made it so fun. He let everyone express their ideas and personalities. I especially enjoyed our first project—it took only 20 minutes, with the hardest part being finding sound effects!
